The duo asked interested females candidates to pay up Rs 1,000 as registration charges and also demanded Rs 3,000 later on as placement fee. They assured their jobs at Lucknow-based government facility will fetch them Rs 9,000 to Rs 11,000 every month. Some females approached Powerline directly only to realise, some miscreants were trying hard to dupe them. "We took cognizance of the complaints we got through social media and started probing the matter," said inspector general 1090, Navniet Sakera.
The IP address used to constitute the ID belonged to Dev Chinmay, which was being used to dupe females was sought. An FIR was registered at Qaiserbagh police station. subsequently. On Sunday, two miscreants running the racket were arrested. The ID creator's original name is actually Dev Chinmayand he belongs to Patna, Bihar. His accomplice was identified as Fatehpur resident Ehsaan. Police have sought details of bank accounts the two were operating to check how many people had been duped.
