Colors, the television brand from
Viacom 18, has been topping the charts in Karnataka for the last 62 weeks with
Colors Kannada. And now, the group is now ready with its second general entertainment channel,
Colors SUPER. The channel was launched on July 24 with an opening that saw the who’s who of the Kannada entertainment industry — such as Crazy Star
V Ravichandaran,
Golden Star Ganesh,
Ramesh Aravind,
Ragini Dwivedi,
Radhika Kumaraswamy,
Suman Ranganath and
Shanvi Srivatsava — in attendance.
The channel has roped in Rocking Star Yash as its brand ambassador.
The channel will start airing its regular fiction and non-fiction shows today, and its line-up includes
Girija Kalyana (socio-mytho),
Naa Ninna Bidalaare (supernatural),
Sarpa Sambandha (fantasy),
Bangari (drama),
Anuraga (love story), and
Manglur Hudgi Hubli Hudga (romantic comedy), as well as world satellite premieres of movies. There will also be a reality show aired throughout the week called Champion, in which girls from various backgrounds vie with one another to prove that they are born champions.
