In addition to continuous monitoring of engine pressure ratio (EPR), fan speed (N1), turbine speed (N2), exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and fuel flow, the EIDS provides realtime data and exceedance recording capabilities. The unit is TSO and STC approved for the Boeing 747-100, -200, DC-10-30 and DC-10-40 aircraft.
