Pilgrim hurt of fall at Banganga

KATRA, July 29: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Ludhiana in Punjab was seriously injured when he slipped on rocks while taking a bath at Banganga Ghat, here today.
The injured was identified as Jagmeet Singh, son of Joginder Singh of Rajapur Ludhiana. He was rushed to Narayana Hospital Kakryal and his condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike was hit by a Tipper at Kothian near Pouni. The injured, identified as Rakesh Kumar (28), son of Sita Ram of Kothian, was rushed to PHC Pouni where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
