Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has strengthened his squad further ahead of the new season by signing winger Helder Costa from Benfica.

The 22-year-old is the first arrival at Molineux following the takeover of the Championship club by the Fosun Group.

Costa, who came through the ranks at Benfica and is a Portugal U23 international, has signed a season-long loan deal.

He had a loan spell with Deportivo de La Coruna in La Liga from the start of 2015, where he made six appearances from the bench, and the last campaign on loan with Monaco in France.

Wolves have also revealed they are close to concluding a deal with Atletico Madrid to bring in Portugal international defender Silvio on a permanent deal.
