Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jul 29 2016 7:50PM Dalit lynching: CID arrests two more accusedAhmedabad, Jul 29 (UNI) The CID crime of Gujarat police, investigating the lynching of Dalit youth in Una on July 11, today arrested two more accused, taking the total number of arrests to 24. The CID crime branch was entrusted with the inquiry into the case 10 days ago, after which eight accused were arrested. Earlier, the local police of Una had nabbed 16 people accused of lynching the Dalit youth in full public view. The incident was captured in a video, which had gone viral on social media, triggering off wide spread protest. Today, two more accused – Kishoresinh Rathod from Kanak Barad village and Shivbhai Sankhat from Umej village of Una taluka - were arrested.
