Kukatpally, situated in north western Hyderabad is a residential locality. The locality is home to one of Asia’s largest colonies, Kukatpally Housing Board. The location of the micro market is its biggest selling point. The micro market is surrounded by important localities such as Nizampet, Hafeezpet, Kothaguda, Borabanda, Moosapet, Jagathgiri Gutta and Pragathi Nagar. Some of the sub markets here are Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, APHB Colony, Balaji Nagar, Sangeet Nagar, Shamshiguda and Vivekananda Nagar. National Highway (NH 9), which connects Hyderabad to Pune passes through Kukatpally and provides good connectivity. Arterial roads like KPH Road, Green Hills Road, Nizampet Road, and NTR Road help connect this area to other parts of Hyderabad. Kukatpally is well connected to the city through TSRTC buses, RTC buses and buses from private operators. The locality has a number of colleges, international schools, schools affiliated to various boards of education and pre-schools. The area has multi specialty hospitals, super specialty hospitals, general hospitals and clinics. Sankhya Hospital, Prime Hospital, and Global Eye Hospital are present here. Malls such as NSL Centrum Mall, Manjeera Mall, CMR Shopping Mall and Forum Sujana Mall are present here. The area has standalone retail outlets of both national and international brands, hypermarkets and supermarkets. Theatres, multiplexes and parks are present here. The area has a number of hotels, guest houses and famous restaurants. The locality enjoys a rich nightlife with the presence of bars and pubs such as TGI Fridays, and Zync – Hotel One Place. The area has a number of places of worship such as Sivalayam, Bala Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Immaculate Conception Church, and Jamia Masjid. This locality is blessed with both physical and social infrastructure. The micro market has residential properties in the budget range of INR 30-50 lakhs. The micro market is expected to see large investments in the near future. The locality is expected to see good capital appreciation so investing here is a good option. Corridor 1 of Hyderabad Metro will have stations at Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB), the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU) and Kukatpally.
