Medha: SSP rehabilittaion project another Vyapam scam'

Bhopal: Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA) activist Medha Patkar, on Thursday, urged Madhya Pradesh government to table Jha commission report "exposing" the Rs1,500-crore scam in providing relief and rehabilitating Sardar Sarovar Project (SSP) oustees.
"It is another Vyapam. A large number of SSP oustees were duped and cheated by government agencies," she said, adding, "Truth must come out."
July 29 is the last day of monsoon session of assembly but the government is yet to submit the report in the house, she said.She said NBA would start 'rally to valley protest' from July 29 that would start from Indore railway station.
The Justice S S Jha Commission was set up by the high court in 2008 to probe allegations of nearly 2,000 fake land sale registries, corruption in rehabilitation sites and other issues related to SSP oustees in Alirajpur, Dhar, Khargone and Barwani districts . The panel submitted its report in January this year in HC.
