In the Art District on Santa Fe, folks at Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center have already begun celebrating the 20th annual Chicano Music Festival this week, including screening Chicano films and inducting the latest members into the Chicano Music Hall of Fame. But the main performances begin July 29 with a “printmaking party,” featuring music from Barrio Funk; the “Summer Pachanga!” on July 30 with Mexico’s Colectivo Altepee, Chicano Heat and Yuzo Nieto’s Pink Hawks; and July 31’s Mariachi Tardeada featuring acoustic sets by Colectivo Altepee and Mariachi Vasquez.
