Goa suspends inter-state buses to Karnataka

Panaji, Jul 28 (UNI) In view of protests in Karantaka following interim order of Mhadei Water Tribunal against the plea of Karanataka, the Goa Government today suspended inter-state bus services to the neighbouring state for two days.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Legislative Assembly, monsoon session of which is underway, Transport Minister Sudhin Dhavalikar said the transportation to the neighbouring state has been suspended for two days as a precationary measure.
''Karnataka bandh is for Karnataka only not for Goa. Mhadei problem was ours and we have won it. Karnataka Government should solve its problem. Though buses here are ready to go to Karanataka but I have ordered them not to go there for two days. Right now there are no bus services for Karantaka.''
