Ahmedabad MP raises Sardar Patel airport runway maintenance issue in Lok Sabha

Ahmedabad: Lok Sabha MP from Ahmedabad, Kirit Solanki today in Lok Sabha suggested that runway maintanance work at Ahmdabad airport which takes place in the afternoon should actually take place in the night. He said everyday no flight can operate at present at this airport between 10.00 am – 6.00 pm period due to maintenance of runway. Due to this situation, air fare have increased. Instead of day-time, the maintenance work should be carried out during night hours, he said.
