Siobhan Barry Joins Dash Design As Partner, Executive Creative Director

Ms. Barry to Oversee Firm’s Creative Work and Growth, in Conjunction with Founder David Ashen

dash design,  a leading New York-based interior design and brand consulting firm with expertise in the hospitality and retail sectors, today announced the appointment of Siobhan Barry as a partner and executive creative director of the firm. In her role, Ms. Barry will be responsible for management of the firm’s creative work, including ensuring its continued excellence in design and related efforts, as well as furthering the firm’s growth strategy.

Before joining dash design, Ms. Barry was a partner and studio leader at ICRAVE, a New York City-based design studio, where she directed the design of numerous iconic projects, including Le District market, STK, Catch, and the JetBlue T5 terminal restaurants. Prior to that position she was with MacKay Architecture/Design, where she focused on high-end retail work, including designing spaces for luxury brands Hugo Boss, Prada and others. Earlier, she developed showrooms and facilities as an in-house architectural designer for Calvin Klein.

A native of Toronto Island, Canada, Ms. Barry earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, where she was selected for the prestigious Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) medal for her graduating thesis in architecture. 

Ms. Barry, who is an avid tennis player and passionate antique-hunter, spends weekends at her upstate home in Rhinebeck, New York.
