Mixed luck for Anvit Bendre in Egypt

Chandigarh, Jul 27 (UNI) Anvit Bendre of India had a mixed luck in the
10,000 ITF Men's Futures Tennis Tournament at Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) today. In the singles first round match he was defeated by Jenkins Jarmere of USA 6-2, 6-0. Bendre, partnering Mateusz Terczynski of Poland, moved into doubles quarter-final after beating wild card pair of Kim Cheong Hwi of Korea and Pisarchuk Denis of Russia 6-4, 6-4.
Wild card Medhir Goyal was oustd by seventh seed Karim Hossam of Egypt who won the singles first round in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
