BJP turns the tables on JMM
RANCHI: The BJP on Tuesday attempted to blunt Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's (JMM) attack on alleged horse-trading charges after Radha Krishna Kishore, BJP's chief whip, on Tuesday thanked Pradeep Yadav for voting against dynastic politics during the Rajya Sabha election.
Reacting to JMM's attack on BJP over horse-trading charges on Monday, BJP accused JMM for not coming clean on the issue during Rajya Sabha polls.
"JMM MLAs voted against party directive. It means their polling agent is at fault," Kishore said. Notably, JMM candidate Basant Soren (Hemant's brother) had narrowly lost to BJP candidate Mahesh Poddar in one of the two seats. Meanwhile, a delegation of JMM MLAs, led by Hemant Soren met governor Droupadi Murmu at Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum seeking repeal of the ordinance.
