Reports on motorway project complete

SIALKOT-The government has prepared four different feasibility reports of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway project while Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will approve one of the reports, an local MNA said.
He added that the construction work will begin in August 2016 which would be completed in a stipulated period of two years. The government has allocated Rs67 billion for the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway project and its groundbreaking will be held by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on August 9, he added.
MNA Ch Armughan Subhani stated this while addressing the party workers at Variyo House Sialkot here. He said that the mega project will change the economical fate of the people besides opening the new vistas of socio-economic and human development in the region.
Subhani added that it will begin from Saahowala-Sambrial which would be connected to Lahore's Mehmood Booti spot of Lahore-Islamabad Motorway while crossing the main Sialkot-Daska Road and Sialkot-Eimanabad Road.
He termed it a great blessing for the people of Sialkot region, and said this motorway would definitely the travelling time between the Sialkot-Lahore and Sialkot-Islamabad to a great extant, saying that the people of Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad districts and Azad Jammu and Kashmir areas would directly benefited from Sialkot-Lahore Motorway, in this regard
He said that later, the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway would also be connected to Gujrat and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) areas after the completion of the under construction bridge over River Chenab near Shehbazpur.
