Nick Jonas is heading into the wild in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for Running Wild With Bear Grylls. The pop singer joined adventurer Bear Grylls for subzero temperatures while testing his wilderness survival skills in the Sierra Nevadas.
“The main reason I wanted to come out here and do Running Wild With Bear Grylls is because I’m in a season of my life where I’m trying to push myself outside my comfort zone, do things that challenge me, be around inspiring people,” said Jonas in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Canada.
In a sneak peak of the upcoming episode, Jonas looks a little hesitant to trade in his usual eating habits for a fresh, natural bird guts stuffed with grubs cooked over an open fire.

“He did so well, what a great guy,” Grylls told EW Canada. “Threw himself into it, dealt with even his diabetes — that can be so difficult. He overcame so many personal challenges, Nick, on this journey and he leaves with all of my respect.”
