SHO suspended for laxity

Bhiwani SP Pratiksha Godara today suspended Bawani Khera SHO Ramesh Chand for laxity while dealing with the case of a clash at the district’s Badeshra village.

Rajkumar, an RTI activist, had registered an FIR that documents submitted by sarpanch Sudesh Devi to contest panchayat elections were forged.

Sarpanch’s supporters clashed with Rajkumar and his supporters over the FIR on July 20. Rajkumar was injured and admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Hisar district. A villager alleged Anand, husband of the sarpanch, got the FIR cancelled by colluding with Bawani Khera SHO Ramesh Chand.
