Mumbai: If you have not registered or left your FYJC forms incomplete during the additional online round, you will not be able to pick a college if its fourth merit list cut-off is higher than the marks you scored. The office of the deputy director of education will allow students to complete the registrations starting August 1. “During this, the option form will not allow candidates to choose a college having the fourth merit list cut-offs higher than the student’s marks.
Students will have to fill minimum 15 options and maximum 30 colleges. These options will not be bifurcated into MMR, zone or wards,” said B B Chavan, deputy director of education, Mumbai. The next merit list will be declared on August 4. The cut-offs and vacancies at colleges will be available on the website on July 30.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the department out messages to 70,842 students who had not reported to the colleges allotted to them in phase one. Of these, 60,794 students have been allotted seats in the same college given earlier. “For the 60,000 students there is still vacancy at the same college. The rest will have to apply afresh in the special rounds,” said Chavan.
