It looks like the Kamal Haasan’s sequel to his blockbuster Vishwaroopam might see the light of day soon! Vishwaroopam 2, produced by Aascar Ravichandran has been lying in the shelves for about three years now. Recently, rumours abounded on social media that Kamal is now planning to release the long-pending film before his ongoing Sabash Naidu hit the screens!
Sources close to the actor confirmed that plans are indeed being made to release the sequel soon. However, Kamal is yet to take a decision, as it would require a lot of money to buy the rights from Aascar Ravichandran. If all goes well, the film will be presented by the actor’s Raaj Kamal Films International soon.
