Patna: Two unidentified bike-borne criminals on Tuesday looted Rs 5 lakh from one Vivek Ranjan (30) near Arwal Mor under Town police station in Jehanabad district.
The incident took place at around 11.30am when Ranjan after coming out of Bank of India branch located at Arwal Mor was moving towards Bazar Samiti where his shop is located.

Meanwhile, Jehanbad SDPO Ashfaque Ansari said the CCTVs installed in the bank were not working for the past couple of days and they had submitted a written complaint with the Town PS in this connection.
"It would be hard to tell if any suspect were present inside the bank in absence of the CCTV footage of the bank premises," the SDPO added.
He said the district administration has issued guidelines to the bank for installing CCTV inside the premises but most of them ignore.
