Short assy session in UP next month

Lucknow, Jul 26 ( UNI) Akhilesh Yadav Government in Uttar Pradesh is contemplating to summon a short monsoon session in next month to seek a supplementary grant of over Rs 4,000 crore, a government official said here today.
A highly placed source in the government said here monsoon session would be of short duration, possibly of three days and it is likely to be summoned on mid of August.
This would be the last legislative session of the Akhilesh Yadav government before the state goes to polls at the end of this year or beginning of next year. As the political parties are not so keen in legislative business when elections are round the corner the government too will complete formality by holding a small session.
