Boy run over by temple car in Trichy

Trichy: A 15-year-old boy was run over by a temple car during the annual Aadi festival of Seethala Mariyamman temple at Karuppanpualm Melakkadu village near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district in the early hours of Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as M Saravanakumar, 15, son of Muruganantham, a resident of Karuppanpualm Melakkadu village.
The Class 10 student participated in the temple car procession, the main event of the festival, along with his parents. tnn
