10-year-old dies at BHU Trauma Centre

A 10-year-old student, Shreyansh Ojha, son of Shiv Kumar Ojha of Meghipur village, succumbed to injuries at the multi-speciality Trauma Centre of BHU.He was injured in the train-school van mishap in Bhadohi on Monday.

Varanasi: A 10-year-old student, Shreyansh Ojha, son of Shiv Kumar Ojha of Meghipur village, succumbed to injuries at the multi-speciality Trauma Centre of BHU. He was injured in the train-school van mishap in Bhadohi on Monday.
The driver of the ill-fated bus, Rashid Khan, too is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre.
Shreyansh, who was among the three children admitted at Trauma Centre, died after he was being shifted to ICU after operation.
According to the deputy medical superintendent of Trauma Centre and officiating officer on special duty (OSD) Dr. S K Mathur, Saransh had lost lot of blood after his kidney was damaged in the accident.
He was brought in critical condition and was kept at ICU before being taken to OT.
Later, after operation when he was being shifted to ICU, he succumbed to his injuries, said the doctor. The other two children, siblings Avichal Mishra (5) and Ayush Mishra (7) of Deenanathpur, were also admitted at the centre.
While Ayush is out of danger, Avichal, who has sustained injuries in brain, has been kept under observation at the ICU.
Dr. Mathur said that the bus driver, who was also rushed to the Trauma Centre in the afternoon, had sustained head injuries including a fracture in the forehead.
