England dismissed Pakistan for 234 on Monday to win the second test by 330 runs with a day to spare and level the four-match series 1-1. It was an all-round performance from England, first outstanding performance from captain Alastair Cook and Joe Root followed by lethal bowling performance from James Anderson, spinner Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes. England’s Only worry ahead of the third Test, starting August 3 at Edgbaston, is that it might lose Ben Stokes. Stokes suffered a calm injury, and left the ground immediately.
Eng level series w/clinical precision!Pak’s only hope was draw-distant hope indeed!Even weather stood by hosts-clearly superior n all depts!

When you are travelling, your top three tend to determine how you go. That is Pakistan’s biggest issue.

Dominant england. 1 all. Pakistan will have to regroup and bat a lot better. Exciting series.
