Lawyer files petition against AAP MP

A city based lawyer Nitin Rathore, on behalf of petitioner Pawan Kumar Raghuvanshi has filed a petition at the district court against Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders accusing them of sedition and abetting sedition, after Mann live streamed a video of his arrival at the parliament on a social networking site.

Indore: A city based lawyer Nitin Rathore, on behalf of petitioner Pawan Kumar Raghuvanshi has filed a petition at the district court against Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders accusing them of sedition and abetting sedition, after Mann live streamed a video of his arrival at the parliament on a social networking site.
"We have filed a case of sedition under Sections 121 (A), 124 (A) and 153 (A) and (B) of the Indian Penal Code.
AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Ashutosh have also been made party in the case as they have supported his actions in a TV interview. Also, while interacting with the media persons outside the parliament complex, Mann had said that he was not ashamed of his actions and that he would do the same again," Raghuvanshi said while talking to TOI.
The case will be listed in front of Judge Raghuveer Prasad Patel on August 6 when the petitioner's statements will be recorded. Based on the statements, it will be decoded whether notice will be issued to Mann or not.
