: Congress MLC from Chittoor district B. Naresh Kumar Reddy is set to join the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on Monday.
Mr. Naresh Kumar Reddy, native of Piler in Chittoor district, studied business management in Indian Institute of Management, and Indian School of Business. He joined the TDP in 1986 and crossed over to the Congress in 1991, during which period he unsuccessfully contested the local bodies’ elections. In recognition of his services to the party for a decade, the Congress fielded Mr. Naresh Kumar Reddy as its candidate for the post of chairman of the Madanapalle Municipality in 2000 which he won, and remained in the post till 2005.
