ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary General Latif Khosa on Saturday ruled out any meeting between Asif Ali Zardari and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Dubai, saying that the PPP does not believe in politics of reconciliation with “looters”. “Any chance of meeting between Ishaq Dar and Asif Zardari in Dubai stands ruled out. There is no substance to reports finding way to the media on this count,” he said while talking to Daily Times. Khosa said that the PPP “does not believe in the politics of loot and plunder”, and is not ready to go for any reconciliation under which national wealth is stashed in offshore accounts. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members set up offshore companies by plundering the national kitty, he alleged. “Therefore, the question of reconciliation with the PML-N stands ruled out.” Khosa said that the PPP was going to file a reference in NAB against the premier very soon. “All preparations have been made in this respect. The matter has been delayed due to AJK elections.” It may be mentioned here that the PPP is holding a high-level meeting in Dubai, which will be attended among others by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and former president Asif Zardari. Khosa told this scribe that a decision regarding filing the reference against the prime minister would be made after that meeting. “A strategy will be devised in this meeting regarding rigging in AJK polls and launch of a movement against the government,” he underlined.
