Boy thrashed for trying to steal mobile from house

Bengaluru: Residents of Nandini Layout on Sunday caught a 17-year-old boy trying to steal a mobile phone from a house in I Block of the layout.
They hit him on the hand before calling the cops. Nagaraj, from whose house the boy tried stealing the phone, lodged a complaint with police.
"We have taken the boy to the police station for questioning. Since he is a minor, we will follow necessary procedures," the cops said.
