With the country in grips of 'Kabali' fever, Radhika Apte rues that she has missed out on on the buzz around a Rajinikant film in Chennai.
"I am really missing out. I am shooting in Mumbai and I haven't had even a day off. I am also unwell and that is one of the reasons I have been unable to go to Chennai. My friends and the assistant directors from the film are calling me up from there.
They went to see the early morning show. I was like, 'This is the biggest thing and I am missing it all'," the film's leading lady reportedly said in an interview to a morninger.
For Radhika, the experience of working in a film with the demi-god of South cinema, Rajinikanth was a novel one. "It's like a fever, but in a good way. The whole thing feels like a festival," she reportedly said.The actress also said that she was overwhelmed as she woke up to numerous messages and calls of compliments.
Calling 'Kabali' the biggest film of her life, Radhika is quite happy with her experience of working with Rajinikanth. "The first day I met him for the photo-shoot, he was warm and down-to-earth. He makes you feel so comfortable. There was no nervous energy left. I felt like an absolute professional working with him," she recalled, adding, "All you can feel is be happy about being a part of such a project."
