Abu Dhabi: A UAE national who rammed into a restaurant in the Emirate of Ajman, killing two people, has been remanded in custody for a renewable seven-day period pending investigation.
Two people were killed a few days ago in Ajman when a speeding car ploughed into a restaurant.
The twenty-three-year-old man admitted to driving his car through a McDonald's restaurant at Al-Hamidiya district and causing the death of a 45-year-old Indian woman and a nine-year-old Iraqi boy, Mustapha.
Two Iraqi girls, Shawq aged 10 years and Estabraq 2 and half years, were also injured along with a restaurant employee.
