Indore: Off-roading during monsoon season on a 200 kilometre long stretch can be a bit scary but for around 50 adventure sport lovers it was not less than a paradise. For Nirja Pathania, 39, who came all the way from Nagpur for driving her four-wheeler on an adventure trip from Indore to Mandu was a life-time experience.
"I loved the track. Uneven roads, hilly terrain and mud made this road-trip the most amazing experience," said Pathania.

On Saturday morning, around 50 bikers and car-lovers began their journey from Indore to Mandu. Organised by local motor sports club the adventure rally was aimed at giving the participants thrill of a journey on uneven roads and terrain.
"It was an adventurous trip and because of rain the route was muddy and slippery. So along with speed one had to maintain precision," said Afzal Banglowala, president, Malwa motor sports club.
A surgeon by profession, Banglowala, is passionate for high-speed. "Speed, distance and time are the major factors that are important during adventure rally. We have riders from across the country that came to participate in this rally," he added.
After reaching Mandu on Saturday evening, the bikers and car-lovers participated in the 'Night Ride,' which was a sixty kilometres long stretch. They would be leaving for Indore, on Sunday and will cover almost a distance of 140 kilometres.

"Night ride was exciting and it was full of thrill. Throughout the route, you have to be cautious about the uneven tracks and even prepare your vehicle before the rally," said a biker.
Bikers and car-lovers from various professions had participated in the two day long rally. From doctors to engineers to senior executives, everyone enjoyed the adventurous trip.
"For rallies you have to customise your vehicle, but I have been an avid rider for the past few years. Two hundred kilometres is not much of a long stretch for a rider like us," said Ronak Singh, a senior executive from Mumbai, who participated in the rally.
