A source told a daily, 'Keeping her achievements in mind, the organisers of the sports event want her to be present at the inaugural ceremony on July 27. The organisers have invited people who have made a difference to the country's art scene with their skills.'
The star's spokesperson confirmed the news, and said, 'Richa is humbled that she has been given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the event.'
