Krishnanagar police arrested a group of three miscreants, on Saturday, for duping job-seekers by promising them jobs in Gulf countries in exchange for money.

Bijender (32), younger brother of gangster Anil Bhagte, was arrested on Monday along with one Meer Singh for killing the latter's business rival Surendra at Azadpur Mandi.
Lucknow: Krishnanagar police arrested a group of three miscreants, on Saturday, for duping job-seekers by promising them jobs in Gulf countries in exchange for money. The police also recovered 30 fake visas and 30 original passports from them.
While Pandey and Ali belonged to Deoria, Singh belonged to Ghazipur district.The three were arrested after an informer tipped off the police about a gang which duped innocent people on the pretext of landing them high-paying jobs.

The miscreants used to charge Rs 60,000 from each of their 'target' and keep their original passports with themThe trio were nabbed at a location near Kanpur Road and owned up to their crime. They revealed the names of their aides and also told the police about their gang leader.
They also disclosed that they used to ask for a sum of 25,000 as an advance for getting the job done and used to hand over the visa only after the remaining payment was mad.
Station Officer Krishnanagar, VK Yadav said "We got the visas checked by the concerned authorities and found all of them to be fake." TNNHowever, the miscreants said the issued visas were genuine. A probe is underway to catch the mastermind behind the gang.
