Kerala to review Gaming Act-1960

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 23 ( UNI) The Kerala Government is set to review and issue a notification to exempt skill based games including poker, fantasy games and bridge from the ambit of the Kerala Gaming Act, 1960 and its penal provisions.

This was conveyed to Jay Sayta, gaming lawyer and founder of http://glaws.in/ India’s first and only website on gaming laws and Roland Landers, CEO of All India Gaming Federation (AIGF), the apex body for the gaming industry, in a meeting with the Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Vigilance) Nalini Netto here today.
