Terming the unbridled use of force by Indian forces and their agencies who have converted Kashmir into a slaughter house by spilling blood of innocent Kashmiri youth, the resistance leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a joint statement on Saturday said this is a grave matter of concern and international community cannot stay silent on it.Stressing that the nation today was collectively fighting for their right to freedom and justice and against the military might, the resistance leaders said in such circumstances it is the collective responsibility of both the leadership and the people of the nation to carry the resistance movement forward with consistency, resolve and unity.Appealing to the resilient and courageous people, the leadership asked them to remain steadfast and follow the already given programme of the unified resistance camp.

Paying glowing tributes to the people martyred in the recent uprising, the resistance leaders urged people to participate in the July 25, 2016 (Monday) programmes to be held at south Kashmir’s Islamabad district to express solidarity with the brave and courageous people of south Kashmir and register their protest against the killing of around 55 people by the oppressive Indian forces during the past 15 days.As per the program glowing tributes will be paid to the recent martyrs and all the martyrs of Kashmir’s resistance movement at the historic Lal Chowk in Islamabad district on Monday 25th July after Zuhr prayers where the leadership and people will once again renew their pledge to carry forward the resistance struggle until it reaches its logical conclusion.

Terming the oppression and suppression, continued curfew, severe restrictions and curbs, and an atmosphere of terror among the people and creating an emergency like situation with the shortage of essential commodities, baby food and medicines, the resistance leaders condemned the infamous government’s anti-people policies and said this tactics cannot break the will of the people in fighting for their basic right to self-determination and in fact these policies make the resistance movement stronger.Urging people to beware of the anti-resistance, anti-unity and anti-people forces, the leaders called upon people to help one another and reach out to the needy people in these difficult and trying times.
