We've picked through the Game of Thrones cast Comic-Con panel for clues

The Game of Thrones cast is notoriously good at keeping schtum about plot developments.

The actors have spoken on a panel at Comic-Con in San Diego - and admitted they had vodka shots before coming on stage.

So did it loosen their lips? Well, not particularly.

But we have picked out some gems from their chat. And a teaser video has thrown up some interesting questions too. More on that at the end...

Sansa doesn't rate Jon Snow that much

Actress Sophie Turner was behind those vodka shots, and was one of the most chatty cast members.

She hinted at strains to come between the King of the North and Sansa.

She says: "I'm not sure if she believes that Jon is capable of running Winterfell in the North.

"She thinks he doesn't have the intellect, knowledge or experience that she has."

She was also asked if she thought Sansa might change after killing Ramsay.

She said: "I have no idea if she's going to become a real leader or if she's going to become completely sadistic, but we'll soon find out."

Or at least, Sophie Turner doesn't.

There are rumours online that the half-brother and sister (who aren't actually related) might get it on.

Someone in the audience asked Sophie about that.

She immediately threatened her bosses.

She told the show's creators: "If you make anything happen, I will kill you."

They said the idea hadn't crossed their minds anyway.

Fans are still mourning Hodor

Some of the more famous cast members were AWOL.

The actors who play Jon Snow, Daenerys, Tyrion and Cersei weren't on the panel.

But the biggest star (sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun) was gentle giant Hodor.

Actor Kristian Nairn got the loudest welcome as he came on stage.

Many of the 6,500 audience chanted 'Hodor' over and over again.

The actor said the reaction had blown his mind.

Winter really hasn't come yet

Which is a logistical problem.

We might be enjoying sunny weather for once, but it's not much help when winter is supposed to have finally come to Westeros.

Show creator David Benioff say that explains why there's going to be a delay until next summer for the new season.

He explained: "Winter is here, and we've got to shoot in places with trees and wait for the leaves to turn."

Bran has an awkward chat coming up

Viewers know that Jon Snow isn't really Ned Stark's son. But no-one has told him yet.

Bran Stark is the only one in the loop at the minute.

Actor Isaac Hempstead Wright says Bran has been shown this information for a reason and 'it's obviously imperative he knows this and will spread the word'.

He imagines that the conversation might go a bit like this: "By the way, I'm a tree wizard, and your dad isn't your dad."

That teaser video is basically evil

DIY has never looked so dramatic.

The clip is basically of beautiful but entirely unrevealing shots of backstage action.

Nails are hammered, costumes are sewn and welding machines weld things.

Over it are a few key audio clips from the last season.

We hear Cersei's coronation, Sansa's last conversation with Ramsay Bolton.

The last words are Tyrion saying: "Welcome home, my Queen."

So it's all about the ladies.

But who is this bloke?

We have REALLY watched the video closely and spotted an upside face in a reflection.

It's about one minute 37 seconds in.

It could be a mistake, but like any good conspiracy theorists, we're not buying that.

Any ideas?
