Vadodara: Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) standing committee chairperson Dr Jigisha Sheth and municipal commissioner Dr Vinod Rao visited election ward eight of the civic body on Friday.
During the visit Sheth suggested that the pond near the Dashama Temple and Kanthiya pond located in the area should be developed. It was also suggested that the Gorwa crematorium should be rejuvenated.
Municipal councillors Ajit Patel, Dharmendra Panchal and Radhika Bhatt had also remained present during the visit.
The elected representatives also suggested that the roads from Kalptaru building to ITI crossroads and from Ellora Park to ward 10 office should be developed as model roads.
The elected representatives also suggested that the civic body should deal strictly with restaurants and eateries in the area that were releasing leftovers into the drainage lines. This had created sewage congestion problems in the area.
