Gangster Mukesh Harjani's aides confess four crimes

Two members of Mukesh Harjani gang nabbed by the Panchmahal police have admitted to committing a series of offences in the district.One member of the gang, Anil alias Anthony Gangwani, had managed to escape.

Vadodara: Two members of Mukesh Harjani gang nabbed by the Panchmahal police have admitted to committing a series of offences in the district. One member of the gang, Anil alias Anthony Gangwani, had managed to escape.
The arrested members of the gang - Kishor Rathod and Karansinh Chauhan - both residents of Madhya Pradesh, were in police custody till Friday.

During their interrogation, they admitted to having attempted a burglary at the office of Nilesh Solanki, son of prominent lawyer and former Rajya Sabha member Gopalsinh Solanki on the night of July 15.
They also admitted to having committed a burglary at Ghoghamba. The duo also admitted to the police that they had robbed a truck by abducting its driver near Vejalpur in the district.
Rathod and Chauhan have already revealed that they had brought four country-made pistols and 17 live cartridges for Anthony.
The firearms along with material to commit burglaries was found in the car in which the duo was travelling along with Anthony and three others including Anthony's aide identified as Bhaijan and Virendra Jadhav as well as Mahendra Jadhav.
Virendra was arrested on Friday and will be interrogated.
