LIC carrom meet
M.B. Jagannadha Rao and G. Uma Devi of Visakhapatnam won the men and women titles in the LIC of India Divison-level carrom tournament. K. Srinivasa Rao (Visakhapatnam) and G. Ganeswara Rao (Chodavaram) were second and third respectively in the men’s section and K. Krishna Veni (Gajuwaka) and G.V. Padmavathi (Visakahapatnam) in the women’s section. Legal Manager M. Chandrasekhar gave away prizes. The winners have qualified to participate in the zonal level tournament to be held in Rajahmundry, general secretary of LIC Divisional Sports Coordination Committee D.V.S.Y. Sharma said.
