Yes India to give special coaching to school students

The second phase of ‘Akshara Samudram’ project of Yes India, a student organisation working for the uplift of weaker sections of the society, will take off at Nainambalappu in Kozhikode on Saturday.

Mayor Thottathil Raveendran will inaugurate the project, which aims at giving special coaching to students from Classes 6 to 12 in the Mukhadar, Nainamvalappu and Kothi regions of Kozhikode Corporation and to ensure that they excel in their board exams.

Social issues

Acting president of Yes India Umar Abdul Salam said they would also address social issues such as poverty, unemployment and malnutrition.

Secretary Akshay Kumar O., director of Akshara Samudram project Rajwa Kamal and members Ramna and Arun were present at the press meet on Friday.
