Family members and relatives of Nagaraj, a Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company employee who committed suicide along with his family recently, staged a dharna outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Monday to protest against the delay in initiating action against those responsible for the suicide.
Nagaraj hanged himself after killing his wife and two daughters at his residence on June 23 leaving a death note accusing three senior officials of harassment. Police registered a case against six persons, including three officials and three office-bearers of the employees’ union, based on a complaint by Nagaraj’s brother. The three officials were placed under suspension.
