Starting from where he left on the opening day, Kohli stitched a 178-run stand with No. 6 batsman Ravichandran Ashwin and reached his maiden Test double ton on Friday. None of the West Indian bowlers had answers to Kohli's masterclass as the elegant right-hander became the first Indian captain to score an overseas double century. However, a small lapse in concentration after the lunch break saw Kohli walking back to the hut without being able to add anything more to his score of 200.
