Haryana Cabinet expansion: disappointment among Aseem Goel camp

Ambala, July 22 (UNI) A wave of disappointment was found in the camp of Ambala legislator Aseem Goel for not including him in the Haryana cabinet expanded by the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today.
The supporters of Goel were hopeful that he would be offered ministerial seat in the expanded cabinet today.
The camp members were of the view that their MLA deserved to be included in the cabinet by virtue of his stature in the party organization since the days of being a leader of the Youth wing at the national level and his contribution in mobilizing the youth towards the party. He, according to them, was a key person in holding rallies of the youth at the time when the BJP had lost mass base especially in Haryana. Even after his election as legislator from the Ambala constituency, a stronghold of the Congress, his performance was rated very good as he had mobilized farmers, traders and people from rural areas from his constituency culminating into rallies addressed by the Chief Minister Khattar, Pradesh Party President Subhash Barala and other leaders. In the background of these facts, the followers of Goel had pinned their hopes that he would have a seat in the government.
