BJP likens Bhagwant Mann to David Headley; Tarun Chugh demands dope test

Chandigarh, Jul 22 (UNI) The BJP today likened AAP leader Bhagwant Mann to Pakistan origin American spy and terrorist David Headley and demanded that a dope test be conducted on the AAP MP. In a statement here, BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh said the government needs to probe the motive behind the act. The BJP leader welcomed the decision of Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to summon Mr Mann but at the same time demanded that the AAP leader be first stripped of all the privileges of an MP. Equating Mr Mann with the 2008 Mumbai attacks accused. Mr Chugh said that it needs to be investigated why he required making a video of the entire route and process of entry into Parliament. He said it also needs to be probed whether he was drunk when the MP tried his 'spying skills.' He said it was a lie that Mann was making a video just to record the process of entry into the Parliament. "It was much more than that. Making a video starting from his residence to Parliament and recording all the entry points, check nakas and various sensitive points en route is a matter that needs a serious probe," he said. The BJP leader said it was least expected from a MP that he would lay bare the entire process and procedure with the route and make it public on the social media. He said it was not for the first time that Mann has committed something seriously ridiculous. He said known for his habit of being drunk most of the time, the AAP MP was earlier found attending a 'Samagam' in the presence of holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib, while he was drunk. Citing that leaders of AAP including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself had admitted that they were anarchists, Mr Chugh said Kejriwal should himself come forward to offer an apology for the conduct of his party's member of parliament.
