I will be a star in Holland – Friday
Nigerian striker Fred Friday has said he will soon become a big star in Holland after he fired two goals for new Dutch club, AZ Almaar, in Thursday’s pre -season game.
Friday, who moved from Lillestrom to AZ after topping the goals’ chart in Norway with eight goals, scored his new club’s second and third goals in the 5-0 victory over SDV Barneveld, africanFootball.com reports.
“Strikers are known for their goals and so it was very important for me to score,” africanFotball.com quoted Friday as saying on his club’s television.
“I am happy because this will build my confidence in the team.
“It has been a good experience for me, meeting new people, new environment, trying to adapt. It has been very, very good for me.
“I like it here.”
