A team of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) fished out bodies of a couple from Behrampura on Wednesday evening.Police investigators are yet to ascertain identity of the victims.

Ahmedabad: A team of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) fished out bodies of a couple from Behrampura on Wednesday evening. Police investigators are yet to ascertain identity of the victims.
As per AFES officials, the bodies wear fished out near Ram Rahim no Tekro at 5 pm. J A Bhagora, inspector of Riverfront (W) police station, said that eye-witnesses recalled that the couple sat at the riverfront wall for a while and then jumped into the river.

"Both were in their thirties and we have not found any identity documents from them. Exercise to establish their identities is on. We suspect it to be a case of failed love affair," he said.
AFES said that they have also found another body from Sardar Bridge. The victim was identified as Bhaumik Parmar, 29, a resident of Tulsidham Society, Ranip. tnn
