Hansal Mehta who lashed out at Nihalani on social media.
'I am upset that Mr Nihalani gave such a disparaging interview in response to a statement that Manoj never made. Manoj is a dear friend, but more than that he is a remarkable artiste with an enviable list of films and performances to his credit. Artistes like him are national treasures and to be spoken of in such a derogatory terms by the CBFC chief is an insult to all the Indian artistes,' Mehta wrote on Facebook.
