Jyoti Basu's Man Friday Joykrishna Ghosh dies

Kolkata: Joykrishna Ghosh, who was former CM Jyoti Basu's personal assistant for 33 years, died on Wednesday evening.
He was 69. Ghosh was battling lung cancer for five years. His corneas were donated immediately and his body will be donated to SSKM Hospital on Thursday.
Ghosh became a full-time CPM worker in 1965 and in 1977 started working as Basu's PA.CPM state secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra and Left Front chairperson Biman Bose condoled Ghosh's death. Senior CPM leader Gautam Deb visited the hospital to pay his last respects.
