Rawalpindi - As many as three people got injured when an armed clash broke out between two parties at a kiln located on Chakri Road, sources informed yesterday.

The incident took place within the limits of Police Station Saddar Bairooni. A heavy contingent of police rushed to the site and shifted the inured people to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for cure.

According to sources, a brawl occurred between kiln owner Niaz and a coal dealer Agha on issue of payment at 7:00pm during which both parties started firing at each other.

 As a result, three people Safdar, Niaz (the owner) and Suhail sustained bullet injuries who were moved to DHQ for medical treatment by Rescue 1122, they said.

Till filing of this report, police were investigating the firing incident.
