Cops await PM report after Arnala murderer confesses to raping, killing girlfriend.
Chilling details have emerged following the grilling of a 23-year-old who allegedly killed his girlfriend in the early hours of Tuesday. After Kinjal Shah’s body was found from an under construction site behind her house in Virar, cops questioned her boyfriend Devendra Bhosle. His revelations have shocked the police.
After his gruesome act, Bhosle confessed to his parents about the crime. His dad locked him up in the house and informed Tulinj police who arrested him. The case was transferred to Arnala police and the accused handed over to them as a missing complaint was registered there.
The Arnala police did not accept the girl was stabbed to death as the body bore no external marks. PI K D Kolhe said, “We are awaiting the PM report to confirm if the accused raped the victim before or after the murder.”

The arrested accused confirmed to the cops that he had raped her after she lost senses following his attempt to kill her. Cops confirmed the cause of death was Poly Trauma (or multiple trauma, a medical term describing the condition of a person who has been subjected to multiple traumatic injuries). They are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death and whether she was raped before or after her murder. On Wednesday the accused was produced in a Vasai court that remanded him in police custody till July 26.
